Dr David Copas is a dedicated Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr Copas completed his undergraduate medical education at The University of Nottingham Medical School, obtaining his Bachelor of Medical Science (BMed Sci) and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) degrees. He subsequently underwent higher specialist orthopaedic training in the East Midlands region before undertaking prestigious post-qualification fellowships in upper limb surgery and major trauma. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS (Tr & Orth), and was previously awarded a travelling fellowship by the British Elbow and Shoulder Society to study advanced surgical techniques alongside international specialists in North America.
