Mr Zubair Saeed

Mr Zubair Saeed is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialised focus on hand and wrist surgery. He currently sees private patients at The Duchy Hospital and The Huddersfield Hospital.

Mr Saeed earned his medical degree with Honours from the University of Bristol in 2009. His journey in surgical training began in South Wales, where he completed his basic surgical training before advancing to specialist Registrar training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Yorkshire. He successfully completed his training in 2021, followed by a prestigious Hand and Wrist fellowship at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, where he trained under the mentorship of Mr Joe Garcia and Mr Apurv Sinha.

Through his extensive training and fellowship, Mr Saeed has garnered expertise in various orthopaedic hand and wrist surgeries, encompassing a wide range of conditions such as sporting injuries, Dupuytren's contracture, arthritis, TFCC injuries, nerve compressions, tendon disorders, and malunion correction, among others.

In October 2022, Mr Saeed assumed the role of Hand and Wrist Orthopaedic Consultant at Harrogate District Hospital, where he maintains an elective and trauma practice. Alongside his clinical duties, he is deeply committed to medical education, actively involved in teaching and supervising trainee surgeons and junior doctors at different stages of their professional development. He is also engaged in research, with numerous publications in the field of orthopaedics showcasing his dedication to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care.
