About Mr David Bratt
Mr David Bratt is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a specialisation in Renal cancer, Renal obstruction, Testicular cancer, and General Urology including Prostatic conditions.

As soon as I visited Mr Bratt for my initial consultation I felt a sense of relief. The kindness he showed me and his friendly approachable nature made me feel at ease. He explained my procedure properly that I understood everything I was going to go through. I had an injury to my ureter during a hysterectomy in November 2025 and I had a nephrostomy fitted to drain my kidney for 7 months before I met with Mr Bratt. On the day he was there to see me before and after my surgery. And I saw him again before discharge. I had the first robotic procedure of its kind at park hospital in Nottingham. I’ve been able to contact him throughout if I’ve needed questions answering and having just completed my follow up scans my results are as hoped for. He’s saved my kidney which I will be forever grateful for. Simply the best medical experience I’ve ever had with a doctor and I’ll remember him forever and how he helped give me my life back.

Investigation, diagnosis and treatment all completed methodically and professionally
Mr Bratt was ill and changed the face to face appointment to a phone appointment. He explained everything clearly and wrote to my G.P with information about continued after care and checkups over the coming years.
Mr Bratt was very approachable, friendly and hopeful. I most appreciated how he listened to my concerns and offered clear and simple advice.

Very professional and every step was explained and discussed clearly. Could not have been in better hands.
The whole process went very smoothly. Although I had to change consultant I was informed of this and given alternative options. I met Mr Bratt on the day of my operation he explained the procedure thoroughly. After the operation he consulted with my partner kept her up to date. I had very good after care and during my discharge appointment was given very clear information on how the procedure went and what to look out for going forward. Would definitely recommend.
David was very professional and helped explain what he suspected was the issue clearly.
