Dr David Bourke Northridge

Dr David Bourke Northridge is a highly experienced consultant cardiologist specialising in general and interventional cardiology. He qualified in medicine in 1983, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine (MB) degree, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).

With a distinguished career in cardiology, Dr Northridge has a particular clinical interest in structural heart disease, advanced echocardiography, and complex percutaneous interventions. His expertise includes patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, paravalvular leak (PVL) management, and coronary interventions.

Dr Northridge is an active member of several professional bodies, including the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) and the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS). He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) and a past president of the Scottish Cardiac Society (SCS).
