About Mr Daud Chou
Mr Chou is a dual fellowship trained Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon working as a Consultant Surgeon, at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and the Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. He specialises in robotic hip and knee replacements as well as pelvic, acetabular and lower limb fracture surgery. In 2019 he was presented with the “You Made a Difference Award” at Addenbrookes Hospital for his dedication to patient care, improving patient pathways and supporting the multi-professional team.
After studying Medicine at University College London, he completed orthopaedic surgical training on the Percival Pott Rotation in London where he gained training and experience at world-renowned hospitals. He has attained Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training in 2016. Thereafter, he has completed nearly two years of senior fellowship training in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty at the Royal London Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia. In addition, he has undertaken a further year of senior fellowship training in pelvic and acetabular reconstruction at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
