I had a very memorable experience in a very good way. I was very scared but entering Spire everyone was very friendly And I felt at ease. Mr Chou and team came and saw me and again very professional and friendly way explained the next steps. I had my left hip replaced and couldn’t believe how quick and well I came round after the op. I could not praise all the staff Highly enough. The food, cleanliness all was very good. As I have to have my other hip Replaced I could only wish I could have the same experience again, hopefully with Mr Chou and his team.

Mr Chou took me on when another surgeon had declined to do a hip replacement at a private hospital because of my age. The experience was seamless and the procedure has given me very little discomfort after the first week or so. I am very pleased with the outcome.

My experience was exceptional. The procedure was explained very clearly and the risks that could come with procedures. Dr Chou was very friendly and kind and explained things really clearly . The staff in the hospital were also very lovely and helpful . My overall experience was very very good I would highly recommend. Since surgery I feel I have a new lease of life , I can’t thank Dr Chou and the team enough it was the best hospital experience I’ve.ever had

A very good experience

Straightforward review after my hip replacement. Mr Chou explained that full recovery would take 3 to 6 months and encouraged me to carry on with the physiotherapy exercises

Mr Chou performed hip replacement surgery on my left hip. I confess to being terrified by surgery and i found him to be very reassuring and calm in his approach and communication. I am now 6 weeks post surgery and despite my concerns, the whole process has been miraculous. Post op i was able to eliminate pain relief after about a week and was walking short distances largely without crutches after 2 weeks. At the 6 week stage i am now able to walk fairly long distances pain free and without any significant limp. Genuinely cant thank Mr Chou enough. Having lived with pain for a number of years it is such a relief to be able to be active and, aside from some residual muscle soreness, pain free

Mr Chou performed a full hip replacement on me. The whole experience was very satisfactory. The initial consultation was thorough and clear. Mr Chou listened to what I had to say and explained the options I had. One impressive thing about the consultation record and the subsequent discharge letter was the accuracy and clarity of these documents. My explanations and thoughts were fully captured as was the advice he gave. The post operative care has not needed to be much but the option was given to get in touch if there were problems which needed Mr Chou’s input. At present I have not needed to use this option as the hip has healed well and is strengthening daily.
