Dr. Daniela Quayle

Dr Daniela Quayle is an experienced Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for both adult and paediatric patients. Specialising in the assessment of the central and peripheral nervous systems, she delivers clear, accurate insight into complex neurological symptoms. Dr Quayle is committed to delivering patient-centred, reassuring care, ensuring that individuals and their families fully understand each diagnostic procedure and feel supported throughout their medical journey.

Her extensive clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of specialised neurophysiological investigations. Dr Quayle regularly conducts and interprets nerve conduction studies, electromyography, single fibre electromyography, standard and sleep-deprived electroencephalography, and videotelemetry. She also performs evoked potential studies, autonomic function testing, and intraoperative monitoring. Her clinical practice focuses on diagnosing and evaluating conditions such as epilepsy, peripheral neuropathies, nerve entrapment syndromes, motor neuron disease, and primary neuromuscular disorders.

Dr Quayle earned her primary medical degree (MBBS) and her PhD from University College London, where her doctoral research investigated visual system neurophysiology. She completed her Academic Foundation Programme in Cambridge before undergoing core medical training and specialist higher training in Clinical Neurophysiology across leading London teaching hospitals. Demonstrating leadership within her field, Dr Quayle previously served as President of the Association of Trainees in Clinical Neurophysiology. She is also the author of a comprehensive specialist handbook in clinical neurophysiology published by Oxford University Press and continues her academic contributions as an Honorary Research Fellow.
