Dr Daniel Palmer

Dr Daniel Palmer is an accomplished Medical Oncologist specialising in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary malignancies. Focusing particularly on conditions affecting the liver, pancreas, and biliary tract, including cholangiocarcinoma and neuroendocrine tumours, he delivers comprehensive care to patients with complex cancers. Dr Palmer is committed to offering a reassuring, compassionate environment while developing personalised, evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to each individual's needs.

Dr Palmer completed his medical education at the University of Birmingham, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) upon qualifying in 1995, having previously attained a First Class Bachelor of Science in Pathological Studies in 1994. He advanced his academic training by completing a PhD in Cancer Studies at the University of Birmingham in 2004. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and holds active leadership appointments within experimental medicine initiatives and clinical studies groups.

Holding roles as a Professor of Medical Oncology and Director of Experimental Cancer Medicine, Dr Palmer plays a key role in clinical research and therapeutic innovation.
