Mr Daniel Morell

Mr Dan Morell is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon based at Kinvara Private Hospital and Park Hill Hospital. He specialises in hand and wrist surgery including wrist arthroscopy and small joint replacement.

He has clinical interests in the following areas:

• Carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome
• Dupuytren's
• Ganglions
• TFCC tears
• Arthritis of the hand, thumb and wrist
• Nerve disorders
• Tendon lacerations and inflammation
• Benign soft tissue lesions

Mr Morell earned his medical degree from the University of Leeds in 2005 and began his surgical training in West Yorkshire hospitals. He began his orthopaedic rotation in South Yorkshire in 2011 and received his FRCS in 2015. He then pursued the prestigious Advanced Training Post Fellowship at the world-renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby after discovering his interest in hand surgery. He also spent time at the Ganga Microsurgical Unit in India to refine his microsurgery skills. Mr Morell started working as a Consultant Hand and Wrist Surgeon at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals in 2018.

His philosophy is to treat every patient as if they were a family member. He has great attention to detail which is reflected in his surgical work.
