Dr Daniel Galloway

Dr Daniel Galloway is a highly dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist who provides comprehensive medical care for a broad range of digestive and pancreatobiliary health conditions. With a clinical focus on achieving accurate diagnoses and tailoring evidence-based management plans, Dr Galloway works closely with each patient to address complex symptoms reassuringly and effectively. He manages both upper and lower gastrointestinal concerns, offering expert assessment for individuals presenting with unexplained abdominal pain, acid reflux, heartburn, or changes in bowel habits.

Dr Galloway earned his medical degree from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 2009. He subsequently completed his post-graduate medical training across the North East and North West Thames deaneries. To deepen his clinical focus on complex interventional procedures, Dr Galloway completed extensive higher training in pancreatobiliary medicine across several major tertiary centres, culminating in a dedicated post-completion of Certificate of Specialist Training (post-CCT) fellowship in interventional endoscopy and pancreatobiliary disorders.

In his day-to-day practice, Dr Galloway specialises in the diagnosis and non-surgical management of diseases affecting the pancreas, bile ducts, stomach, and intestines. His areas of expertise encompass conditions such as acute and chronic pancreatitis, bile duct stones, strictures, pancreatic cysts, coeliac disease, and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. He performs a comprehensive array of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection, endoscopic ultrasound, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, ensuring patients receive precise, high-quality care.
