Dr Claudia Gore

Dr Claudia Gore is a Consultant Paediatrician and Professor of Practice specialising in Paediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Her clinical work focuses on delivering compassionate, holistic care to infants, children, and young people affected by allergic conditions. She possesses deep expertise in managing complex multisystem allergic disease, severe atopic eczema, and adolescent allergy services, supporting young patients and their families as they manage chronic health conditions.

Dr Gore graduated in medicine in Germany in 1995, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Medicine (MD res) in 1996. She subsequently completed her postgraduate specialist medical training in paediatrics, paediatric allergy, and immunology in the United Kingdom. In 2006, she was awarded a PhD in paediatric allergy by the University of Manchester. She holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics with a sub-specialisation in Paediatric Allergy. Recognised nationally for her leadership and clinical excellence, she received the William Frankland Award from the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, where she also serves as a trustee and committee chair.

Dedicated to advancing standard care for young people, Dr Gore leads clinical initiatives in food immunotherapy, eczema diagnosis, and adolescent healthcare transition programmes. Her patient-centred approach addresses a broad range of childhood conditions, including asthma, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, anaphylaxis, and drug allergies. Through individualised management plans, evidence-based treatments, and educational engagement, Dr Gore provides reassuring guidance to help patients achieve an improved quality of life.
