Many of the difficulties we experience in adulthood can be shaped by early relationships and experiences. I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience helping people understand and work through the impact of difficult early life experiences and unmet emotional needs. I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space at my consulting rooms in Denmark Hill, Camberwell, SE5 where we can explore how earlier experiences may be influencing current difficulties, and identify ways forward that feel meaningful and manageable. Areas I work with include childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, complex trauma, anxiety and depression. I accept WPA health insurance customers.
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at King’s College London and worked for over a decade in forensic, community and specialist adult mental health services within the NHS.
I now work part-time at the Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience (IoPPN), Kings College London training Clinical Psychologists. I also enjoy the ability to work clinically and respond to patients flexibly through my private practice. I provide effective psychological treatments, and also supervise other clinicians in delivering this work. I have published a number of scientific and academic articles. www.lighthousepsychology.co.uk
