Dr Christopher Moxon

Dr Christopher Moxon is a highly accomplished Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in Paediatric Infectious Diseases. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, he works to diagnose and manage a wide range of complex childhood infections and general paediatric conditions. Dr Moxon is committed to providing reassuring, family-centred healthcare that supports both the physical health and emotional well-being of young patients.

Dr Moxon completed his medical degree (MBBS) at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London School of Medicine, alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Developmental Neurobiology at King's College London. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on coagulation and microvascular biology in severe childhood infections.

Dr Moxon has extensive expertise in managing tropical medicine, severe infectious conditions, and cerebral malaria. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a Clinical Senior Lecturer, conducting advanced research into host-pathogen interactions, vascular dysfunction, and brain swelling caused by infectious diseases. His research contributions continue to inform innovative treatment approaches aimed at reducing complications and improving health outcomes for children.
