Dr Christina Wilson

Dr Christina Wilson is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-focused cancer care. Specialising in the non-surgical management of malignancies, she takes a holistic approach to cancer treatment, ensuring that each patient receives a personalised care plan tailored to their specific diagnosis and individual needs. Dr Wilson works closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver evidence-based guidance, reassurance, and thorough support from initial consultation through to post-treatment follow-up.

Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide array of modern therapeutic techniques, with a primary focus on head and neck cancers as well as upper gastrointestinal malignancies, including oesophago-gastric conditions. Dr Wilson is skilled in delivering advanced radiotherapy treatments, including stereotactic radiotherapy, alongside a broad range of systemic drug therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted anti-cancer treatments. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively engaged in oncological research, contributing as a principal and co-investigator in national and international clinical trials to refine treatment protocols and enhance patient outcomes.

Dr Wilson earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from the University of Dundee in 2007. She went on to achieve Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2010, followed by Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2015. In addition to her formal qualifications, she maintains active membership with these prestigious medical institutions and has held leadership positions within professional exam boards, contributing directly to medical education and clinical guideline development.
