Dr. Chris De Kauwe

Dr Chris De Kauwe is an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health and menopause care. A BMS Menopause Specialist and member of the National Association for Premenstrual Syndrome (NAPS), Dr De Kauwe is dedicated to empowering women to make informed, confident choices throughout every stage of their hormonal journey.

Dr De Kauwe is the Clinical Lead for The Menopause Consortium clinic in London, where he provides personalised, evidence-based care for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. His patient-centred approach ensures that each woman receives tailored support based on her individual needs, with a strong emphasis on holistic wellbeing and long-term health outcomes.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr De Kauwe is a respected educator in the field of menopause health. He regularly delivers training and presentations to fellow clinicians, sharing best practices and the latest research in menopause management. He trained under the expert guidance of Dr Vikram Talaulikar at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), gaining in-depth experience in complex women’s health cases.

Dr De Kauwe also leads the menopause service at his NHS GP practice, providing expert support within a primary care setting. His empathetic, informed approach is highly valued by patients and colleagues alike, and he plays an important role in advancing the standard of menopause care across the healthcare sector.
