About Dr. Claire Stansfield
Dr. Claire Stansfield graduated from Sheffield Medical School in 2000. Following her foundation medical training, she went on to complete GP training and qualified as a GP in 2006. She furthered her expertise by completing additional training in sexual health, earning the Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare in 2007. Dr. Stansfield has worked as both an NHS and private GP in Yorkshire and has developed a particular interest in menopause care. Since early 2022, she has been actively involved in menopause clinics, addressing the needs of women navigating this life transition.
She holds the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology and has a keen focus on skin conditions affecting mid-life women, particularly managing genitourinary syndrome of menopause. Currently nearing the completion of her training to obtain the Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care, Dr. Stansfield is excited to work in a clinic with a holistic approach to menopause.
Dr. Stansfield brings a personal understanding of the challenges faced during menopause and is deeply committed to supporting women through this stage of life with compassionate and informed care.
