Dr Cher-Han Tan

Dr Cher-Han Tan is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions. With a professional and reassuring approach, Dr Tan aims to deliver accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans designed to meet the individual needs of every patient. His clinical focus spans generalised skin conditions as well as complex dermatological health matters, ensuring high standards of care and support.

Dr Tan completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Liverpool, graduating with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2007. Following his foundational medical education, he undertook extensive postgraduate training and spent time working as a research fellow before completing his specialist training in Dermatology in 2018. He holds a diploma of Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK Dermatology). Dr Tan is an active member of professional organisations including the British Society of Medical Dermatology and the Scottish Dermatological Society, and he serves on the committee for the Skin of Colour Training Day UK team.

Throughout his career, Dr Tan has developed clinical interest and expertise in medical dermatology and dermatological conditions affecting skin of colour. In addition to his direct work with patients, Dr Tan has contributed to scientific publications and delivered presentations at clinical conferences. He remains committed to integrating the latest medical advancements into his clinical practice, offering patient care that is informed by current research and best practice guidelines.
