Dr Chee Seng Yee

Dr Chee Seng Yee is an experienced Consultant Rheumatologist who provides comprehensive care for patients presenting with complex musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. He is dedicated to delivering reassuring, evidence-based, and patient-centred care, striving to help individuals manage chronic symptoms effectively and improve their daily quality of life.

Dr Yee specialises in a broad range of rheumatological disorders, with particular clinical expertise in connective tissue diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, cutaneous vasculitis, and idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. His clinical interests also include the management of rheumatic diseases in pregnancy, offering safe and tailored care pathways for expectant mothers. Additionally, Dr Yee evaluates and treats patients suffering from various forms of inflammatory arthritis, incorporating targeted disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs and modern biological therapies.

Dr Yee completed his postgraduate medical training and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. He further advanced his academic and clinical expertise by undertaking postgraduate research at the University of Birmingham, where he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) for his work on disease activity measurement tools in autoimmune conditions. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.

Beyond his direct clinical practice, Dr Yee actively participates in medical research and serves as a principal investigator in clinical trials exploring biologic medications and disease monitoring tools. His clinical research contributions focus on refining therapeutic strategies and improving long-term outcomes for individuals living with systemic rheumatic diseases.
