Dr Cedric Leclercq

Dr Cédric Leclercq is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and the co-founder of Child Connect Limited. He earned his medical degree from the University of Liège in Belgium in 2013, providing him with a strong international foundation in psychiatric medicine. Following extensive training and clinical practice in Belgium, he transitioned to London, accumulating broad clinical experience across both public NHS settings and the UK private healthcare sector before co-founding Child Connect.

Specialising in neurodevelopmental conditions, Dr Leclercq has developed a significant expertise in the assessment and management of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each family, bringing a specialist commitment to conducting "gold standard" diagnostic assessments that empower children, young people, and their parents.

His clinical approach is deeply informed by his background in psychiatric research. During his academic career at the University of Liège, he conducted research focused on child psychiatry and neurodevelopment, establishing a scientific perspective that directly enhances his clinical evaluations of complex cases today. Dr Leclercq works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure every patient receives a comprehensive, compassionate understanding of their unique strengths and challenges.
