Dr. Aurore Boulard

Dr. Aurore Boulard is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and the Founder of Child Connect, with over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, university research, and teaching. She earned her PhD in Psychological Sciences from the University of Liège, where her research focused on the complex intersections of neurodevelopmental conditions, child and adolescent psychology, ASD, ADHD, and depression. During her academic career across both the University of Liège and the University of Paris Descartes, she concentrated extensively on early intervention and identifying the early signs of autism.

Specialising in a lifespan approach, Dr. Boulard provides expert ADHD and autism assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She is highly trained in "gold standard" diagnostic tools, including the ADI-R and ADOS, and maintains a particular interest in family-centred care. Beyond initial diagnostic evaluations, she is dedicated to supporting families throughout their entire journey, offering comprehensive guidance and evidence-based parenting interventions, including the Incredible Years® Parenting Programs.

Her clinical work is underpinned by a person-centred philosophy that prioritises understanding the whole person rather than just a diagnosis. As Founder and Registered Manager at Child Connect, her mission is to deliver thoughtful, compassionate assessments that empower individuals and families to recognise their unique strengths, navigate challenges, and move forward with confidence toward future possibilities.
