Mrs Cheadle earned her medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Leeds in 2009. She subsequently completed her basic surgical and higher specialist orthopaedic training within the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery, focusing her final years of training on upper limb disorders. To further refine her sub-specialist skills, she completed a prestigious fellowship at the world-renowned Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby. Mrs Cheadle holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Trauma & Orth) and maintains active memberships with the British Society for Surgery of the Hand, the British Orthopaedic Association, and the British Medical Association.
With extensive expertise in both elective and acute trauma surgery, Mrs Cheadle treats a wide variety of complex conditions. Her clinical focus encompasses surgical interventions for Dupuytren’s disease, treatment for scaphoid non-union, ligament reconstruction, and basal thumb arthritis management, including trapeziectomy and joint replacement. Additionally, she performs wrist arthroscopy, small joint fusions and replacements, and intricate bony reconstructive procedures for primary and post-traumatic degeneration within the hand, wrist, and carpus.
In addition to her clinical practice, Mrs Cheadle is active in academic research and medical education. She has authored scientific book chapters, published peer-reviewed articles, and presented her work at national and international orthopaedic conferences.
