Dr Brahan Sathyamoorthy

Dr Brahan Sathyamoorthy is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides compassionate, comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and young people. Specialising in Community Paediatrics, Dr Sathyamoorthy focuses on supporting the holistic health, growth, and well-being of young patients. They work closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver tailored clinical assessments and management plans that address a wide spectrum of childhood health concerns.

Dr Sathyamoorthy has a strong clinical focus on neurodisability, child safeguarding, and paediatric neurodevelopmental conditions. Their areas of clinical interest include the diagnosis and management of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy, and paediatric epilepsy. Additionally, Dr Sathyamoorthy actively engages in clinical research and clinical governance initiatives aimed at improving long-term health outcomes and nutritional care for children living with neurodisabilities.

Dr Sathyamoorthy earned their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Madras Medical College in 1991. They subsequently completed extensive postgraduate training in Paediatrics and Community Child Health. Dr Sathyamoorthy holds professional membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and is fully registered on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Paediatrics.
