Dr Boon Lin Teh

Dr Boon Lin Teh is a dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide spectrum of visual disturbances and eye conditions. Specialising in diseases affecting the back of the eye, Dr Teh combines meticulous surgical skills with a reassuring bedside manner to ensure every patient receives tailored care. His clinical practice focuses on diagnosing and managing both routine and complex ophthalmic conditions to safeguard long-term sight.

Dr Teh has extensive expertise in vitreoretinal surgery and medical retinal disorders. His clinical scope encompasses treating retinal detachment, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. In addition to advanced retinal procedures such as vitrectomy, pneumatic retinopexy, and internal limiting membrane peeling, he performs modern micro-incisional cataract surgery and phacoemulsification, alongside administering intravitreal injection therapies for retinal conditions.

Dr Teh completed his undergraduate medical education, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree. He subsequently undertook rigorous higher specialist training in Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and holds professional membership in the British and Eire Association of Vitreoretinal Surgeons.
