Dr Billy Cheung

Dr Billy Cheung is a Consultant Physician in General (Internal) Medicine and Acute Internal Medicine who provides expert, reassuring care for individuals facing a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions. He works closely with patients to evaluate acute symptoms, deliver prompt diagnoses, and formulate comprehensive management plans tailored to individual health needs. His professional approach combines clinical diligence with clear, compassionate communication, helping patients and their families feel informed and supported during times of health uncertainty.

With extensive expertise in managing urgent health challenges, Dr Cheung focuses on the investigation and treatment of serious, short-term illnesses, as well as the delivery of ambulatory medical care. His clinical interests extend to clinical governance and healthcare quality improvement, having previously held senior organisational roles, including Chief Registrar, aimed at refining clinical workflows and enhancing patient care standards.

Dr Cheung earned his medical qualification, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from King's College London in 2008. He obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2013 and earned his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Acute Internal Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine in 2019. Deeply passionate about medical education, he serves as an Education Lead, actively organising and delivering training programmes for both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees.
