Dr. Becky Mary Harris

Dr Becky Mary Harris (website) is a very experienced General Practitioner and BMS (British Menopause Society) Accredited Menopause Specialist with two decades in general practice, preceded by three years in hospital posts. Relocating to Leeds with her family in 2001, she dedicated 12 years to a practice in Headingley. Dr Harris also worked at Bupa Wellness Centre, where she gained experience in health screening and lifestyle counselling. She currently sees private GP patients at Spire Leeds Hospital on Monday pm and Friday am as well as continuing to work NHS GP sessions.

Dr Harris’s expertise includes a wide range of general practice services, including chronic and acute medical and mental healthcare, alongside comprehensive lifestyle advice and screening and strongly belives in practicing preventative medicine. Additionally, she holds qualifications in gynaecology, sexual and reproductive health as well as a diploma in child health.

As an accredited British Menopause society menopause specialist Dr Harris runs dedicated menopause clinics at the Leeds Nuffield hospital, the Leeds Dexastrong clinic and the Leeds Spire Hospital on Monday am, Tuesday pm and Wednesday am respectively. Her first hand experience with a very symptomatic menopsuse has equipped her with insights and expertise in managing all areas of the menopause, perimenopause and other hormonal issues such as PMDD and PCOS.
