Mr Ayman Sorial

Mr Ayman Sorial is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in lower limb arthroplasty, including primary and revision hip and knee replacements. He graduated from Cairo University in 2004 and subsequently undertook extensive surgical training in the United Kingdom. He completed his higher surgical training on the prestigious South East Thames (King’s College) rotation, followed by a post-CCT specialist fellowship in complex lower limb arthroplasty at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore.

In his clinical practice, Mr Sorial is dedicated to using advanced surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes and recovery times. He has a particular sub-specialist interest in robotic-assisted joint surgery, complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements, and the management of periprosthetic joint infections. His expertise spans managing complex trauma and "problem" joint replacements, maintaining an unwavering commitment to surgical precision, patient safety, and optimal long-term joint function.

Beyond his surgical work, Mr Sorial is actively involved in medical education and clinical research. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary trauma and arthroplasty units at Medway Maritime Hospital, he regularly contributes to training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons while actively delivering high-quality, personalised, and evidence-based care to his patients.
