Mr Asif Z Khan is professional and friendly, giving patients clear explanations. I have had persistent issues with my right ankle for over 4 years. The issues began with an initial ankle sprain, followed by a series of subsequent ankle sprains due to limited range of motion. After trying numerous alternative routes over the years with no resolution, I decided to book an appointment with Mr Khan. I chose Mr Khan because his areas of specialism covered the foot & ankle, and the feedback he had received from others in similar circumstances was very encouraging for my situation. I have had a series of consultations with Mr Khan to diagnose and treat my ankle issues. Following an initial consultation, I had an MRI which showed bone spurs located around the area I was experiencing pain & inflammation. We then went ahead with a steroid injection to assess whether or not the spur we had identified was the cause of the pain. After further consultations with Mr Khan, we proceeded with a surgical procedure to remove the bone spur & clean up the ankle in the targeted area. I am now just over a month post-op and I am very happy with my recovery so far. My range of motion is returning to what it once was, and I’m noticing pain reduction. I hope to see this trajectory continue as I carry on with my rehabilitation plan. From the onset, Mr Khan showed genuine care for the issues I was facing. He took the time to detail each stage of the treatment plan in detail, in a way that was easy to understand. When I made the decision to undergo surgery, Mr Khan was clear to explain to me the risks & potential outcomes (good & bad). Mr Khan was careful to consider surgery a...
Read moreMr Khan has been amazing at helping sort out my ankle injury. After a missed diagnosis on an NHS MRI scan review with the NHS and lengthy waiting times to even get a US scan to see the damage that had occurred. I went privately via my company insurance cover. Mr Khan went the extra mile to source the MRI imaging and get an US scan to confirm what he realised was extensive damage. He explained what was happening and covered all avenues before reaching the same conclusion as myself that I’d need an operation to determine the extent of my damage. He’s gone beyond to keep me posted at every point along the way. He’s always courteous and takes his time to explain everything and clearly demonstrates the affection areas
He was very good, the operation went extremely smoothly and the recovery was quick, I would highly recommend this doctor !
I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent consultation with Mr Khan, who demonstrated a warm and professional demeanor throughout my 'journey' and appointments with him. He addressed all of my questions thoroughly and took the time to explain medical details in a clear and accessible manner. His approach was both compassionate and methodical, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable. I appreciated his attentive communication and the clarity with which he outlined the next steps. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care and expertise provided during our interaction.
The experience has been excellent. All questions answered in a calm & professional manner putting my mind at ease.
Mr Khan was very personable, explaining everything thoroughly.
I recently went in to get my boot taken off and I got great information and was told everything was perfect
Dr Khan answered any questions I had, in detail, and was extremely reassuring across the whole process. Dr Khan displayed a heightened level of professionalism and ensured I was satisfied each time we met. He advocated for physiotherapy where injuries I sustained wouldn’t necessarily require, to ensure I had a pathway back to sports.
Dr Khan has been excellent in helping with my recovery. He explained the injury very well and gave me great support in how to help it recover well. He is polite and professional and really talks you through what he is saying to help you understand
