Dr. Ashwin Patel

Ashwin qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2012 and has since gained a broad range of experience working in several NHS and private dental clinics treating patients with a wide range of dental needs.

He takes pride in providing high quality minimally invasive dentistry treating many who have never had any dental treatment before. Ashwin understands the importance of regular dental care to prevent dental disease and enjoys watching a person’s self-confidence develop with improvements to their health and smile.

His main interests include dental implants, aesthetic restorative (cosmetic) dentistry, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Ashwin is a provider of fixed and removable orthodontics and has achieved a Postgraduate Certificate qualification. He is highly motivated to provide quality care to patients using the latest materials and technology in braces and clear aligners.

He offers comprehensive dental care including inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, veneers, root canal treatment, tooth whitening and composite bonding. There is no doubt that his clinical ability and standards are very high with the aim of creating and maintaining a healthy functioning dentition for all his patients.

He is committed to professional development and has attended numerous dental courses which provide an opportunity to learn and develop new skills that adopt the latest technology and techniques which will ultimately benefit the care he provides to his patients. He has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Implants.

Outside of work Ashwin enjoys keeping active by going to the gym and playing badminton. He is an avid skier and has participated in the occasional solo skydive! Ashwin is a formula 1 fan, has a love for cars and is a regular member at the local go-karting centre. He also has a keen interest in new technology, photography and enjoys travelling.
