Dr Arnold Deering is a Consultant Physician whose private practice is based at Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital, Ramsay Winfield Hospital, Gloucester and Spire South Bank Hospital, Worcester. His area of specialism is Syncope, Stroke Medicine and General Internal Medicine. His areas of interest include Blackouts, Faints, Transient Loss of Consciousness - TLoC, Postural hypotension, Orthostatic hypotension, Dysautonomia, Postural tachycardia syndrome - PoTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome,), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome – MCAS, Dizziness, Vertigo and Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo ( BPPV).

He offers Tilt table testing (Head up tilting, HUT)

In addition, Dr Deering is an international examiner for the Royal College of Physicians. His research interests include Baroreflex Sensitivity. He has many publications. He also offers courses to GPs and has received 5 Clinical Excellence Awards.
