Dr Arash Vaziri

Dr Arash Vaziri is a Consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology who provides patient-centred care across a broad range of digestive and liver disorders. Specialising in both Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Dr Vaziri diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and biliary system. His clinical scope encompasses the ongoing management of metabolic, viral, autoimmune, vascular, and alcohol-related liver diseases, alongside care for patients requiring multidisciplinary gastroenterological support.

In his daily clinical practice, Dr Vaziri performs a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. These include elective diagnostic and therapeutic lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, elective upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for portal hypertension, and emergency gastrointestinal endoscopy for acute conditions. Alongside his procedural work, Dr Vaziri maintains active interests in clinical research, clinical governance, hepatobiliary cancer care, and clinical trials focused on liver conditions such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Dr Vaziri earned his medical degree with distinction from St George's, University of London in 2010. Following his qualification, he completed extensive postgraduate specialty training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine across training centres in the East of England, including specialised liver transplant units. He is a Joint Advisory Group (JAG) Accredited Endoscopy Trainer and an accredited Educational and Clinical Supervisor, routinely delivering instruction in endoscopy and liver disease management to doctors in postgraduate training.
