I recently had an endometrial polyp removed under the care of Dr. Chase at Nuffield Health Woking Hospital, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. From our very first online consultation, she immediately put me at ease. She was warm, friendly, and had such a calm, reassuring presence. I felt instantly comforted by her manner, and she explained everything clearly and gently, while still making sure I fully understood my options. I particularly appreciated how she talked me through the pros and cons of having a general anaesthetic versus a local anaesthetic in a completely balanced and impartial way, giving me the space to go away, think, and decide what felt right for me. I left that first consultation feeling significantly less anxious. On the day of the procedure, she came to see me beforehand and went through everything again. Her bedside manner was excellent — kind, reassuring, and with a lovely sense of humour that really helped settle my nerves. The surgery itself went smoothly, and my recovery was straightforward. During my follow-up call, I was once again struck by her professionalism and genuine care. Throughout the entire process, I felt that I was in very safe hands. Regardless of the outcome, I had complete trust in her, which made a huge difference to my experience. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received and wouldn’t hesitate to return to her for any future gynaecological concerns.
Dr chase settled my mind, explained everything thoroughly and made me feel cared for

Apryll is first and foremost a human before a consultant making it so refreshing to be her patient. She also advised my on other areas around menopause generally which I really appreciated!

All questions fully answered and the procedure was explained very clearly. Excellent team and l felt very well cared for. RBH is a wonderful hospital. From crossing the door you are aware of the ethos and values ego I got out at kitchen level and a chapp took me up a level to the exit. He was just going on shift so hope he was not late. Thank you

Really lovely laid back lady. She was super friendly but very professional too. She eased my nerves and explained about options for changing my hrt more than any Dr has. I would highly recommend her and would be more than satisfied to see her again.

Thankyou very much for the kind words.
Dr Apryll Chase was very welcoming and professional and I felt comfortable to explain the issues I have been experiencing. She presented a few options, from more conservative to more aggressive approach and together we made the decision to start from the conservative one. A

She was efficient and courteous. She explained the process. During the procedure she was talking and making me calm.

Thank you very much. I enjoyed chatting with you also and I'm glad that made a difference.
When I visited Miss Chase for my appointment I felt heard, understood and taken seriously. She genuinely cares and wants to help. She was thorough- leaving no stone unturned and errs on the side of caution which I really appreciate. Thank you Miss Chase.

Women’s healthcare remains largely reactive. Intervention often begins only once symptoms become disruptive, bleeding becomes unmanageable, pain is persistent, or fertility is affected. By the time many women reach specialist care, problems have already become entrenched. Women’s health does not struggle because conditions are rare. It struggles because early signals are frequently minimised, poorly contextualised, […]

Pain with intercourse is common, under-reported, and frequently under-investigated. Many women assume it is something to tolerate, work around, or accept as normal at certain life stages. Others raise it once, are reassured, and do not return to the issue. Dyspareunia is common, but not uniform Pain with intercourse, clinically referred to as dyspareunia, affects […]

Many women leave gynaecology appointments unsure whether what they experienced was good care or simply what they have learned to tolerate. They may have been reassured, given a prescription, or told to wait, but still feel unclear about what was found, what was ruled out, or what happens next. That uncertainty is important. A good […]

Heavy menstrual bleeding is one of the most common reasons women seek gynaecological care. It is also one of the most frequently minimised. Many women believe that heavy periods are normal after a certain age, normal after childbirth, or simply part of perimenopause. While heavy bleeding is common, it is not a diagnosis. It is […]
