Dr. Apelles Econs

Dr. Apelles Econs is a medical professional with a diverse background. He obtained his medical degree from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London, in 1976. Following various hospital appointments, he transitioned to general practice in Walton-on-Thames in 1979.

Dr. Econs's interest in the relationship between diet and health was piqued in the early 1980s when two of his patients reported significant improvements in their conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis and chronic fatigue, after making simple dietary changes recommended by colleagues. This sparked his exploration into environmental influences on human health, leading him to research and apply methods used in Clinical Allergy to his NHS practice.

Throughout his career, Dr. Econs has focused on providing preventative and nutritional measures for common medical issues, including asthma, eczema, and hay fever, among others. He has expertise in managing dietary problems, treating intestinal parasites, administering oral and intravenous nutrition, and addressing the needs of chemically sensitive individuals. Additionally, Dr. Econs has extensive experience in various methods of immunotherapy, including Enzyme Potentiated method (EPD), Low-dose method (LDI), and sub-lingual immunotherapy (SLIT).
