Dr Anupama Gore

Dr Anupama Gore is an experienced Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in non-surgical cancer treatments, with a primary focus on advanced radiotherapy, chemoradiotherapy, and systemic anti-cancer therapies. She delivers compassionate, patient-centred care, tailoring every treatment plan to address the unique physical and emotional needs of her patients. With a strong commitment to clinical excellence, Dr Gore focuses on delivering precise, evidence-based oncological care to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes while prioritising patient quality of life.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of oncological conditions, with particular expertise in gynaecological malignancies, including cervical, endometrial, and vulval cancers, as well as thoracic and lung cancers. Dr Gore is highly skilled in advanced radiotherapy techniques, such as gynaecological brachytherapy, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), and palliative radiotherapy. Additionally, she oversees systemic management options including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamlessly coordinated care pathway.

Dr Gore completed her undergraduate medical degree in 1989, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Devi Ahilya University, where she subsequently completed a Master of Medicine (MD) in 1993. She obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2000 and was awarded a Master of Science (MSc) by the University of Nottingham in 2007. Following extensive higher specialist training in Clinical Oncology, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2010. To further broaden her expertise, she undertook advanced international post-fellowship training focusing on brachytherapy and modern radiation delivery. She maintains active professional standing as a Fellow and Examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr Gore serves as a Lead Clinician and active clinical trial investigator, contributing to landmark research studies that inform standard-of-care guidelines in oncology. She has contributed to national guidance and consensus panels on gynaecological radiotherapy. Through ongoing research, continuous professional development, and active engagement in medical education, Dr Gore remains at the forefront of oncology, integrating advanced treatment modalities into daily clinical practice.
