Dr Tony Chow is a Consultant Cardiologist. He graduated from The Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1990. He did his specialist cardiology training at Imperial College. He is accredited in General Medicine, coronary intervention, electrophysiology and devices for heart failure, becoming a consultant in 2002.
Dr. Chow has been a Young Investigator finalist in The European Society of Cardiology and The Rosanne Deganni Cardiology awards in the USA.
Dr. Chow was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist in 2002 at The Royal Berkshire and The Heart Hospital UCLH, he now works at BartsHealth the largest cardiac centre in the UK, where he is an Honorary Senior Lecturer with clinical, academic and teaching roles.
He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physician and an examiner for the University of London for higher degrees.
Dr. Chow is active in research and is a regular peer reviewer for high impact cardiac journals.

Dr Chow’s manner put me at ease. He explained everything very clearly and gave the opportunity to ask questions. Although he was clearly busy, he gave us the time needed and we didn’t feel hurried. Following the consultation I had complete confidence to put myself into his care and move forward with the procedure. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Chow.

I was admitted under the care of Dr Chow at the Wellington Hospital for a VT ablation after suffering a "VT storm". He went out of his way to oversee my treatment from my admission to my release four days later. He is clearly a leading expert in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. His experience and bedside manner reassured me that I could not be in better hands. Despite the complexity of my condition - I was born with a VSD - the ablation was very successful. I could not recommend him more highly.

Dr Chow and his team were warm, professional and very easily contactable. He is courteous and explains clinical findings in simple terms, so you won't get lost or be confused with medical terminology or jargon. A credit to the profession, and along with his warmth you feel he has your best interests at heart!

Dr Chow provided excellent care and attention throughout my stay, and in a professional and friendly manner. Prior to my operation, he fully explained and made sure I understood the procedure I was about to undergo and reasons why, and that I was both happy and had no outstanding questions. Similarly, post procedure he again visited my room to let me know the operation had been successful and make sure I was fine, and finally again before my discharge to make sure I was still OK, and to answer any questions I may have. I have no hesitation recommending him to others.

I can't recommend Dr. Anthony Chow highly enough. He gave me as much information as I wanted. He was calm and reassuring at all times, and is a brilliant doctor bar none.
