Dr Anthea Cree

Dr Anthea Cree is a dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the treatment of gynaecological malignancies. She offers compassionate and comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with cervical, vaginal, vulval, and endometrial cancers. Understanding that a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, Dr Cree is committed to delivering individualised care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, guiding them calmly and reassuringly through every stage of their treatment journey.

Her clinical practice encompasses both systemic anti-cancer therapies and modern radiation treatments. Dr Cree administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormone medications alongside advanced radiotherapy techniques, including precision cervical brachytherapy. She holds a strong clinical interest in oncogeriatrics, focusing on optimising cancer care and outcomes for older individuals, as well as managing the late effects of cancer therapies to help maintain her patients' quality of life.

Dr Cree earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Liverpool before completing her specialist postgraduate training in Clinical Oncology. During her training, she undertook dedicated research into advanced radiotherapy techniques for cervical cancer. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and serves as Co-chair of the British Geriatric Society Special Interest Group in Oncogeriatrics. Through her academic foundation and ongoing professional leadership, she remains committed to advancing standard practice in radiation oncology and geriatric cancer care.
