Excellent all round. Every step from all the required tests and scans and colonoscopy were carried out in a short space of time. These were followed by face to face meeting with Ms Minicozzi and a senior nurse. All the collection of information was discussed in a calm, and gentle manner. All questions discussed and the oncoming procedures were thoroughly explained. Time line given and with clear guidelines to follow. I was quickly placed on the list of the team who would be treating me. As it was during Covid, it was difficult for everyone but the hospital provided clear guidelines to follow to maintain safety of everyone. Surgery went well and the treatment I received from the ICU following the operation was equally excellent. Wonderful staff and I was very well looked after. Support was available to me after I had got home from McMillian charity which I took up and benefited from greatly. I felt confident and secure at every step that I was getting the best treatment. Ms Minicozzi was very caring and efficient. I cannot express my thanks enough to everyone as each person, at every level has been kind, calm and helpful. I was very lucky to have been treated at this hospital and my thanks go to each and every person. My follow up monitoring appointments have been equally excellent. I believe that God guided me to Royal London at my time of need! My heartfelt thanks to all.
Doctor Minicozzi is a special doctor and such experienced and knowledgeable in person. She helped me before, during and after my surgery. Everything I’ve been through with being diagnosed with cancer and I was lucky to have her as the senior doctor as she took her time to make sure I was okay before and after the surgery and as I’m recovering now with the surgery going well and no longer am diagnosed with cancer.
