Ms Anna Darby

Ms Darby is a qualified, GDC-registered dental hygienist who obtained her qualification in Poland in 2019. She then successfully completed an adaptation period in the UK which involved treating patients under the direct supervision of a dentist and dental hygienist. Ms Darby had the privilege to undertake her adaptation period at OSD Healthcare under the supervision of Dr Ola Hassan. She obtained an additional qualification in 2020, the BDA Certificate in Dental Radiography, and more recently completed a 5-day hands-on periodontal course "Perio with Deepak".

Prior to her dental hygiene qualification, she worked for over 15 years as a dental nurse. During her dental nurse career, she worked with a range of specialists including periodontists, endodontists, orthodontists, minor oral surgeons.

Ms Darby is a friendly individual who presents a kind and sympathetic manner whose main goal is to deliver the best possible care in a calm and non-judgemental environment. Ms Darby feels as a clinician, communication with the patient is important and she always allows extra time to build a good rapport with her patients. She is a very ambitious person, who is always striving to further her knowledge and obtain new skills.

Ms Darby grew up in the south of Poland and has a 12-year-old son. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends, listening to rock music, reading books, swimming, and participating in winter sports including snowboarding, skiing, and ice skating.
