Miss Anna Bridgens

Miss Anna Bridgens, MBBS, BSc, FRCS (Tr & Orth) is a Paediatric Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Portland Hospital.  She specialises in paediatric trauma, congenital and acquired hip and foot deformities, and neurodisability, particularly Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida. She is passionate about delivering individualised care to all patients.

After graduating from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in 2003, Miss Bridgens completed her Higher Surgical Specialty Training in Trauma & Orthopaedics on the Percival Pott Rotation based at the Royal London Hospital. She completed her Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Evelina Hospital for Children.

Miss Bridgens has an NHS practice at St George's Hospital NHS Trust, a Level 1 trauma centre in South West London where she focuses on neurodisability, general paediatric orthopaedic conditions as well as trauma. She has published multiple scientific papers and is a member of the British Society for Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery (BSCOS), the British Society for Surgery in Cerebral Palsy (BSSCP),the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS) and the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Disability Medicine (AACPDM).
