Dr Anish George

Dr George is a Consultant Cardiologist. They specialise in interventional cardiology and are experienced in performing a variety of invasive cardiac procedures. Dr George is skilled in using the latest modalities of intravascular imaging, intravascular physiology and adjunctive therapies to ensure the best possible outcome for their patients.

They are also a specialist in treating patients with hypertension (high blood pressure). Dr George treats patients with difficult-to-treat hypertension and young-age onset hypertension. They are very experienced in all aspects of general cardiology and sees patients with a variety of symptoms, including chest pain, breathlessness, murmur, dizziness and palpitation.

Dr George graduated in 2004 from the University of Kannur, India. They completed their early medical training at the Oxford deanery and then at the Wessex deanery. Dr George then completed a period of clinical research and was awarded an MD postgraduate research degree. They completed their cardiology training in the Northern Ireland deanery where they sub-specialised in coronary intervention. Dr George then completed their subspecialty training in interventional cardiology on a prestigious fellowship. They are a member of the General Medical Council.
