Dr. Andrew Hudson

Dr Hudson has been my oncologist since I was diagnosed almost four years ago. He is very professional and approachable. He takes time to listen to any concerns, queries or worries I may have, and will always explain things in ways I can understand. When it comes to treatment options he always explains what my available options are, and which would best suit my current situation, however the ultimate decision is always mine. I'm very happy with the standard of care I've received to date, and look forward to him being my oncologist for years to come.

Dr Hudson explains one’s condition clearly and frankly but with compassion and sensitivity. He is very friendly and approachable and is happy to answer questions or clarify points of detail. Whilst in his care I’ve had full confidence in his judgement and the treatment plan he has instigated.

I have been a patient of Dr Hudson for three years, he is an excellent physician and I have nothing but praise for him. He has consistently gone the extra mile to get the best treatment for me and this is typified by my most recent visits where he has fought to get me chemotherapy that the hospital were reluctant to give. His manner is friendly, informative and down to earth and he always makes time to get my views and answer questions. His team are likewise excellent and a testament to his management style. Dr Hudson is a real asset to the hospital and the NHS.
