Dr. Andrew Hill-Smith

Dr. Andrew Hill-Smith is a highly experienced child and adolescent psychiatrist with over three decades of practice, including 25 years as a consultant. Until recently, he worked within the NHS in Surrey, providing invaluable support to young people through his roles in a CAMHS clinic and later with the Hope Service, a crisis intervention team. Dr. Hill-Smith has also held several leadership positions within Surrey and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, contributing to advancements in child and adolescent mental health care.

Now established in private practice, Dr. Hill-Smith remains dedicated to improving the mental well-being of young people. His private practice focuses on a wide range of child and adolescent mental health difficulties, excluding ADHD and ASD assessments, as well as eating disorder evaluations and treatments.

Dr. Hill-Smith has a particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of OCD and non-psychotic hallucinations. His compassionate and evidence-based approach ensures that children and adolescents receive tailored care to address their unique needs and challenges.
