Dr Andrea Ortu

Dr Ortu is an Anaesthetist. They have a special interest in orthopaedics, trauma anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, including ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, and advanced management of acute post-operative pain. Dr Ortu has authored many publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Ortu qualified from Parma University, Italy. They subsequently practised in Cambridge and London before being appointed as a consultant at Addenbrooke's Hospital. Dr Ortu also holds the position of Lead Clinician for Quality and Safety in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
