Dr Amy Clifford

Dr Amy Clifford is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the management and treatment of urological cancers. She provides patient-centred care for individuals diagnosed with malignancies of the kidney, bladder, and prostate. With a focus on delivering thorough, evidence-based care, Dr Clifford ensures that each patient receives a compassionate and tailored approach throughout their treatment.

Her primary clinical focus lies in advanced radiotherapy techniques, particularly Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR) for renal tumours. As a Renal SABR Lead, she utilises precise radiation technology to target complex tumours while preserving surrounding healthy tissue. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, Dr Clifford collaborates closely with surgical and medical oncology specialists to develop integrated treatment strategies for her patients.

Dr Clifford completed extensive postgraduate training in clinical oncology, obtaining specialist registration in the discipline. She is actively involved in professional organisations and research networks, contributing to national kidney cancer clinical guidelines and participating in collaborative renal oncology research groups. In addition to her clinical practice, she holds the role of Undergraduate Lead, supporting the education and training of future doctors.
