Dr Amina Khalid

Dr Khalid is a dedicated Consultant Dermatologist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care for a wide range of dermatological conditions. With extensive experience in skin health and cutaneous disorders, she offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and tailored treatment plans to suit each patient's individual needs. In addition to her clinical practice, she plays a prominent role in medical education and clinical leadership as a Training Programme Director in Dermatology.

Dr Khalid completed her foundational medical training, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. She subsequently undertook rigorous specialist training in Dermatology, earning a Diploma in Dermatology from Glasgow alongside Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in Dermatology. In recognition of her clinical expertise and contributions to the field, she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. She maintains active engagement with professional bodies, including the British Society for Dermatological Surgery.

Her clinical interests focus on advanced skin cancer management and specialised surgical procedures. Dr Khalid sub-specialises in cutaneous surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly precise technique used to treat skin malignancies while preserving healthy tissue. Her treatment portfolio also encompasses photodynamic therapy, laser therapy, surgical excisions, and diagnostic skin biopsies, ensuring patients receive modern, effective dermatological care.
