Mr Altan Elvis Omer

Mr Altan Elvis Omer is a dedicated Consultant Urologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients experiencing a wide range of urological health concerns. Specialising in disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, he delivers compassionate and evidence-based clinical management tailored to each patient's individual needs. His practice encompasses both benign urological conditions and complex oncological cases, maintaining a strong focus on patient comfort and high standards of clinical care.

With extensive expertise in urological oncology, Mr Omer has a sub-specialty interest in the management of prostate cancer and bladder cancer. His clinical areas of interest also include benign prostate enlargement, lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction, circumcisions, and urogenital disorders. He is highly proficient in advanced surgical techniques, including robotic surgery, robot-assisted radical cystectomy, rigid cystoscopy, and local anaesthetic transperineal (LATP) biopsy for accurate cancer diagnosis.

Mr Omer completed his medical degree in 2010 at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. He subsequently undertook specialist clinical training in urology at the Institute of Uronephrology and Renal Transplant at Fundeni Clinical Institute. In 2016, he achieved full qualification as a Fellow of the European Board of Urology. Following this, he further refined his surgical skills through two prestigious UK fellowships specialising in robotic surgery. He is an active professional member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Omer is actively engaged in medical research and education. He has authored scientific articles and book chapters focusing on early prostate cancer detection, bladder cancer diagnostics, and robotic urological techniques.
