Dr. Imad Mohtar

Dr. Imad El-Mohtar is a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Urology Surgeon who has been practising in the specialty since 1999, bringing with him extensive international experience. His career has taken him across Poland, Lebanon, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UK. He is a member of the Polish, Lebanese, and Bahraini Physicians Associations, as well as the European Association of Urology, and holds full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK.

A Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU), Dr. Mohtar is also a certified ultrasonographer, with qualifications from the Polish Ultrasound Society allowing him to independently perform ultrasound examinations. His expertise covers all aspects of general urology, including the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the kidneys, prostate, and bladder, as well as genital (penile and scrotal) disorders and urinary stone disease.

He has significant experience managing erectile dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, lower urinary tract symptoms, overactive bladder, recurrent urinary tract infections, and urinary incontinence. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, Dr. Mohtar regularly attends national and international courses, lectures, workshops, scientific symposiums, and training sessions. He follows the General Medical Council’s guidelines on appraisal and revalidation to ensure his practice remains of the highest quality.
