Dr. Ali Sever

Dr Ali Rıza Sever was born on March 14th, 1963 in Izmir, Turkey.

He studied medicine at the University of Istanbul.

In 1992 he started his radiology residency at the Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam.

In 1999 he was appointed in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in UK as a consultant radiologist and clinical director of breast Screening Service.

In 2011 he attained a PhD degree from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands following his research on microbubbles and sentinel nodes.

Between December 2013 and July 2016 he worked at the University of Hacettepe, Ankara, Turkey as a Professor of Radiology in the Breast Imaging Department.

He is currently working at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital, and also participates in the NHS Breast Screening Programme at King's College Hospital.

He has published over 50 articles in peer reviewed scientific journals and has been invited to lecture in various national and international conferences. His practice has been focused on breast imaging throughout his entire career for over twenty years.

He is married and has four children.
