Dr Alberto Scavone

Dr. Alberto Scavone is a skilled Sports Medicine Physician at Isokinetic London. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Bologna in 2017, where he completed a thesis titled "New Injury of Anterior Cruciate Ligament after ACLR: Age as a Predictive Factor of Increased Risk."

Furthering his education, he became a Sport and Exercise Medicine Specialist at the University of Modena in 2022. During this period, he presented a thesis titled "Systematic Video Analysis of Premier League and Championship ACL Injuries: From Injury Mechanisms to Biomechanics on 126 Consecutive Cases." To develop his skills further, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in 2022, obtained in Bologna.

Dr. Scavone is well-prepared to handle both acute and chronic/overuse injuries stemming from sports or exercise and has the capability to perform ultrasound-guided injections, to ensure precise and effective treatment. 
Dr. Scavone specializes in the conservative management of a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal issues in individuals of all age groups. He is qualified in addressing various forms of joint-related discomfort, including osteoarthritis, tendon-related pain, including tendinopathies or ligament injuries.

 From 2018 to 2022, spanning three seasons, he served as the Team Doctor for MODENA FC.

Dr. Scavone has also pursued training as a Master Football Doctor at the Football Science Institute, which he began in July 2022.
In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to the field through research, with three research publications to his credit.
