Dr Albert Chikate

Dr Albert Chikate is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex musculoskeletal conditions. Committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, he works closely with individuals to alleviate joint pain, restore mobility, and improve overall quality of life. His practice encompasses a wide range of reconstructive and trauma procedures, ensuring that every patient receives a personalised treatment strategy aligned with their recovery goals.

With advanced surgical expertise, Dr Chikate focuses on joint replacement and trauma management, including primary total hip replacement, primary total knee replacement, and hip hemiarthroplasty. He holds a strong clinical interest in complex lower limb trauma and acute musculoskeletal injuries. By utilising modern surgical methods and evidence-based rehabilitation protocols, he aims to optimise patient outcomes and support a smooth transition from surgery to full functional recovery.

Dr Chikate completed his higher specialty surgical training in the North West of England before undertaking an advanced fellowship in orthopaedic trauma. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). Alongside his direct patient care, he is actively engaged in medical education and teaching, helping to train the next generation of surgeons and remaining at the forefront of developments in orthopaedic care.
