Dr. Ajanta Kamal

Dr. Ajanta Kamal is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in children's general medicine and acute paediatrics. With a focus on delivering holistic and compassionate care, Dr. Kamal supports children and young people managing a broad spectrum of acute healthcare needs and medical conditions. Her clinical practice centres on providing reassuring, patient-focused evaluations and tailored management plans to safeguard the health and development of her young patients.

Dr. Kamal completed her medical degree (MBBS) in 1999 at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London School of Medicine. Enhancing her knowledge in paediatric healthcare, she earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Paediatrics from the Institute of Child Health in 2008. In 2013, she completed a specialised fellowship in Quality Improvement and Leadership skills through CLAHRC North West London, solidifying her expertise in clinical management and healthcare leadership.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kamal holds a prominent role as Director of Medical Education. She maintains extensive clinical interests in acute general paediatrics, medical training, quality improvement, and service development. Dr. Kamal is actively involved in advancing communication skills training for healthcare professionals, ensuring that children and their families receive safe, effective, and supportive care throughout their treatment.
