Dr. Ahmad Moinie

Dr Ahmad Moinie is a dedicated Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Dedicated to delivering high standards of patient-centred care, he treats both adult and paediatric patients across the full scope of otolaryngology. His clinical approach focuses on providing accurate diagnostic assessments and individualised treatment plans, ensuring patients feel fully informed and reassured throughout their care journey.

Within his practice, Dr Moinie maintains sub-specialist expertise in head and neck surgical oncology, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and complex throat conditions. He takes a refined clinical interest in procedures aimed at the surgical restoration of voice and swallowing function, as well as the evaluation of referred ear pain (otalgia) and neck swellings. Collaborating closely within multidisciplinary surgical teams, he offers tailored management for both benign and malignant conditions of the head and neck.

Dr Moinie completed his pre-clinical medical education at Trinity College, Cambridge University, where he earned an intercalated degree and Master of Arts in Pathology. He went on to undertake his clinical medical school training at Magdalen College, Oxford University, earning his medical degrees. Following his undergraduate medical education, he completed comprehensive core surgical and higher specialty training in otolaryngology, leading to his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Moinie is actively involved in clinical research and surgical education. He contributes to peer-reviewed otolaryngology publications and leads educational initiatives for junior doctors and trainees.
